Bridge Constructor Portal is a puzzle simulation game where players are tasked with designing and constructing bridges to transport trucks from one point to another within the Aperture Laboratory, under the supervision of an artificial intelligence. Players must utilize braces and cables to build bridges, anchoring them to pre-designated fixed points on the walls of each level, which vary in difficulty.

MISSION TO SAFELY DELIVER BENDIES TO THEIR DESTINATION

In Bridge Constructor Portal, players assume the role of a new employee at Aperture Science testing laboratory. Their primary task is to construct bridges, ramps, slides, and other structures across 60 unique test chambers, aiming to transport Bendies safely to their destination in their vehicles.

During missions, players can utilize various gadgets and tools such as portals, propulsion gels, cubes, circular blocks, gears, and more to navigate past turrets, acid pools, and laser barriers. Besides building secure bridges, players must control their character, solve puzzles, and complete test chambers without causing harm to the character.

SWITCHING BETWEEN DIFFERENT VIEW MODES

Upon completion of construction, the bridge undergoes a quality test. If it fails to meet the standards, players must dismantle the entire bridge and start anew. Throughout the construction process, players can switch flexibly between different view modes to identify gaps or weaknesses in their designs.

There are 3 modes for players to visualize their solution: construction mode - test mode - vehicle mode.

• Test mode simulates the game's physics to evaluate how the bridge components withstand the weight of the materials used in its construction.
• Vehicle mode sends one or more trucks across the bridge structure; if the structure holds, the level is complete. Otherwise, players must dismantle and rebuild from scratch.

Furthermore, while a single vehicle might cross the bridge effortlessly, a convoy may pose a challenge. Players must frequently assess the bridge's quality, ensuring it remains intact after multiple crossings.

Notably, the number of rebuilds is unlimited, allowing players to experiment with various construction designs until they successfully complete the level.
