ILiturgia is an app designed to help you engage in all the canonical hours of the Liturgy of the Hours directly on your smartphone or tablet, even without an Internet connection. This version, developed in collaboration with CNBB, offers the official texts of the Liturgy of the Hours and articles for the Church in Brazil. These contents are translated by CNBB and have been sanctioned by the Holy See to ensure precision and legal use.

LITURGY AND HOURS

The ILiturgia app enables users to effortlessly access and observe all the canonical hours.

• Features all the canonical hours such as the Liturgy of the Hours, Lauds, Terce (9 o'clock), Sext (12 o'clock), None (15 o'clock), Vespers, and Compline.
• The hours are automatically organized to assist users in conveniently following and engaging in prayers without manual preparation.
• Users can view the readings in the annual or biennial cycle while accessing the Gospel of the day for a unique Lectio Divina practice during Lauds and Vespers.
• Daily liturgical support from the Roman Missal, including the introduction, Eucharistic prayer, and Mass readings, enhances the prayer experience, making it comprehensive and fulfilling.

PSALMS, SONGS, AND CATECHESIS

The ILiturgia app offers resources on Psalms and songs, along with catechesis to aid users in gaining a deeper understanding of the prayers' significance:

• Includes a collection of Psalms at the end of each psalm and song for easy reference and study.
• Provides catechesis on Psalms and songs in Lauds and Vespers, following the guidance of Pope John Paul II and Benedict XVI, to help users better grasp the meaning and practice.
• The songs are presented in both Portuguese and Latin, allowing users to access the original text as well as the native version.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

Liturgia offers numerous supplementary tools to assist users in the process of praying and participating in rituals:

• Provides a complete set of rites and celebrations, including both obligatory and optional feasts, as well as all the common feasts of the Church, making it easy for users to follow and practice.
• Includes other prayers of the Church, especially the Rosary, enabling users to engage in various forms of prayer.
• Operates entirely offline, allowing users to access all features and texts without an Internet connection, ensuring convenience in all circumstances.
